A great book providing realism that makes you ‘feel’ like you are there. Does a good job of not contradicting known minute historical details about the world of Hitler’s Germany, yet manages a way to add intrigue. It retains the moral high-ground of ‘Nazi’s are bad’, and then turns you loose to enjoy the fact they were human also… now lets go shoot a few of them if they get in our way.

Set in the final fanatical days of the end of the Third Reich, this book provides accurate but not over-bearing details that make you feel that you are really there, yet provides a plausible story of a Jason Bourne type super hero, believable if you want to believe, which gives you a confident feeling of security in the most dangerous land on the earth.

I finish one out of ten books I start. I finished this one.
Would I read it again? Not for at least 7 years, if ever.

With Stephen King as a ‘10’, how does this rate? About a 5 (that’s very good).

Action? Ok (that's good)

Readable? Very. Words do not clunk along, forcing the reader to try to figure out some pithy obscure meaning. I enjoy pithy books for about a page, then I fall asleep.

Could I put it down? Absolutely. It’s not that good.

No foul language. No sex. But still a good book.
