SMU Law Library

Sea Lions at Pier 39 in San Francisco

I hate the feel of panic when I am not ahead in my reading, have not finished my outline for 'testable chunks of materials' already discussed, in addition to a huge-ass memo due in 3 days.  So, I thought the best way to remedy the situation would be to go and waste thousands of seconds looking at pictures of my trip to San Francisco last August!

Okay, I didn't really.  I just happen to think how relaxed these sea lions are.  They were so relaxed, they practically poop while sleeping!  What a life.  But, I spend a little bit of time with my husband and watched three episodes of Breaking Bad on Netflix.  Then, close to 2 PM, I drag myself to the library and started my memo.  Four hours later, it was all I did.  I read the cases, there were four.  I read the clients facts again, and then some more.  Then I write.

It takes a special talent to put together nuggets for rules and facts and somehow, meshing them together so that it comes out to be an objective prediction of client facts.  Now, do you understand why I need to look at my vacation picture?
