Qualms About Nature

I took my older two kids to a hike last Sunday. It was a refreshing hike.  The trails were challenging in places, but it had plenty of easy intervals that allowed me recover my breath.  I wasn't worried so much about breaking an ankle, but about the "nature" that's around us.  There are signs everywhere that it was also "poisonous" snake habitat.  So, despite my "qualms" about nature, I had lots of fun.  This is my first alphabet Thursday post.

  3. This looks like a challenging hike!

I moved from an area where there we no snakes to a part of the country that has rattlesnakes, so I'm trying to learn all I can about dangerous snakes so I can avoid them.

  8. I admire your courage. I'm absolutely petrified of snakes, and if I saw that sign, I'd be running quick as lightning the other way. Welcome to the challenge, it's a lot of fun!
