So, I planted 8 magnolia trees in my backyard in late April. A few days ago, I noticed that all of them have at least one flower blooming already. I am very thrilled! It smells so good. The only downside I noticed is after a really hot Texan afternoon, the white flower will turn brown and then die. Oh, well. It's a glorious bloom while it last.
Also, my tiger lily blooms again. It is puny, I know. I don't water it at all. In fact, with all my front door flower neglect, I'm surprised this tiger lily hadn't given up and died. Every year, it will bloom for me. That is truly the beauty of bulby flower.
