Post-Bankruptcy

a bark of a tree at the park down the street

It is always unfortunate when one has to file chapter 7 or chapter 13. It will take 10 years (Chapter 7) or 7 years (Chapter 13) to rebuild credit history.  Having a job, and a non-changing address can go a long way towards building credit history.  However, it is important not to get into debts until the credit history has been established.  In my opinion, having good and reasonable advise post bankruptcy is just as important as paying attention to strategies to build credit history.  Beyond that, actually following through the good advises will dig anyone out of a bankruptcy hole.

Sky Watch

On George W. Bush tollway, on my way home

Hurricane Harbor Water Park
We have been having typical summer in Texas.  Well, for me, it is typical. When Texas was having thunderstorms and pouring like crazy, I was in San Francisco, so I did not get to experienced the 70 F degree Dallas.  These are my skywatch.  Now, I'm off to read some horn book on Federal Civil Procedure. I am taking CivPro in the Fall, and that is 4 weeks away.  I know nothing about CivPro, and it behooves me to read a little something about it.

My Pets

France

Italia
Here are our pets. Their birthday is on April 15, 2012. One time, while they're outside, they somehow manage to catch a rat. I had no idea we had rats in our backyard. We have been here over 10 years. I guess they have that name for something.

Forty Hours Until

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy.

I have never been this worried about an exam before.  I think because I do not feel prepared, but my practice exam says I know a lot.  I guess I will just have to study some more.  Except now, I am sort of tired.

I wonder if I am studying effectively?  My grades are high, so something is working.  Or as my professor said..."do not change anything now, you're evidently doing something right"

These are the postcards that I received that I like.  More than luck is preparation. I am doing that.  I just have to keep going.

Yeah! Post Card

Isn't this the lovelies of postcards?
I thought I was not going to direct swap postcards with anyone.  Then I saw this card, and I just had to try if I could get one. And I did.  The lovely Yvette from The Netherlands sent me one. Thank you so much!  I hope the card I sent her will arrive, soon, too.

Happy weekends everyone!

Exams on Tuesday. So, I better get back to it.  It's Texas Real Property Law and Oil and Gas Law. Yay, me!  I have missed my early morning runs...kids chess camp is on the other side of town, which means, I have to leave early, too.

Happy skywatching every one.

A Quick Playground Check

We have chess summer camp for two more weeks.  We were at this location last week but did not noticed the playground.  Here are my boys after all morning of chess camp.  It is a lovely day. I wish I could have spent more time here, but I have to drive to the other side of town for my evening summer classes.  I do not mind waiting for my boys to finish chess because I could study in the library while waiting.  The play ground is a healthy hang out place for my kids.  At home, they tend to play with Xbox and Wii U.  Two out of three boys here are in red...that's about normal. Perfect for my Ruby Red Tuesday.
