Post-Bankruptcy

a bark of a tree at the park down the street

It is always unfortunate when one has to file chapter 7 or chapter 13. It will take 10 years (Chapter 7) or 7 years (Chapter 13) to rebuild credit history.  Having a job, and a non-changing address can go a long way towards building credit history.  However, it is important not to get into debts until the credit history has been established.  In my opinion, having good and reasonable advise post bankruptcy is just as important as paying attention to strategies to build credit history.  Beyond that, actually following through the good advises will dig anyone out of a bankruptcy hole.
