Jam Anywhere

A pie I am planning to make - I got the card from postcrossing
We are an apple family. I like how the find-my-iphone feature keeps track of where my family are at any given moment. In our household, we all have different reasons why we like apply products. For me, it is the ease in which I can use the apps. For my children, it's the games. However, since my boys started playing guitar, they have been experimenting with combining their instruments when those that their sibling plays. There is this magical thing  that can make any of my childrens' choice of apple device to jam. It is always a joy to hear my children play musical instruments. The only "not" joyous part of it is when they forget the time and play through the early hours of the morning.

MPRE and Motherhood

post card from Russia
I do not think that one has something to do with the other, but they're both in my mind.

I finally figured out how to listen to my Multi-state Professional Responsibility Examination lecture videos.  I tend to fall asleep if I have to stay so still while watching.  Then, this morning, I finished 4 classes while on my elliptical machine and I was using my iPad to listen to the lectures.  It was a perfect match.  I can get in better shape and learn.

In fact, I have mastered, meaning that I did not get any mistakes on the review question after each lesson.  Now, I just have to figure out how to get two classes ahead in terms of reading for one of my classes.  I do not have to say, I think, that this class is reading-heavy. I do enjoy it, but it certainly is a lot of work.

I was just thinking how my daughter is a bit frustrated right now because we took away her phone privileges.  She can still send texts over Wi-fi, but no telephone line.  I kind of feel bad about it, but my husband and I have to be parents.  So here we are.  My daughter was so frustrated, she's probably almost packed and ready to go and live independently.  She has her eye on both coasts - I think as far away from south-central USA.  I wish her well, and she is not getting a phone, yet.

Trusty Laptop

painting by Van Gogh, got it as postcard

I do almost all of my work in my laptop.  Sometimes, it is not always convenient an outlet to plug.  For instance, in one of my classrooms, most of the outlets are broken.  The class is two hours long, and I need a batter that can perform.  I need it to last, even if I missed charging my laptop the night before.  I cannot emphasize enough how nice it is to have a good batter for a laptop, and if you need a new one for yours, check this out: dell inspiron 1525 battery - batteryheads.com. I also do a lot of picture editing in my lap top. I just like it.  A gimpy battery would not be as fun to work with.

Postcards Makes Me Happy

Painting by Van Gogh - sent as postcard

I needed a break from reading. Reading 1780s cases and about a hundred pages of it can get on my nerves after a while. I went to Hulu Plus, my go to station when I only wanted a short distraction.  Usually, I am on my elliptical machine when I do, but I just wanted a real break.

I'm watching LAW AND ORDER: SVU. I am shocked that Meloni is no longer in this show. Haven't been for a long while. Come to think of it, I have not seen an episode of this show since 2012.  I have to go to Google to find out.  It seems like Meloni is in another show based on Justin Halprin's book.  This author is funny. I read his first book called Sh*t My Dad Says. I played the audio version in my car on our trip to the beach - Port Aransas.  It was a bucket of laugh.

I'm watching an episode with Scott Foley. He's got sexy eyes. Isn't he Jennifer Garner's ex?

This is the postcard I sent to Russia. I like it so much, I want to hung a big version of it on my wall. I love postcrossing because I get to see all kinds on pictures.
